Bob and canal fishermen;
Hi, First time on this board. I hope there's lots of
buzzards bay info we can share.
Last two weeks in the bay and canal have been very quiet. A few
schoolies in Widow's cove and the flats. Binito and blues have been
active off toby's island (if you are up for the frustration of chasing up
and down fish!). Hooked a binto Saturday AM, tide just turned from full.
Did ot land him as my 12 lb seperated 15 feet from the boat. a MONSTER
(really, honest, it was huge!).
Sunday Am the same thing. binito up and down between turn of tide to
an hour or so towards past full.
Wing's neck dead, but two weeks ago your arms would get tired from
hauling in good sized bass (including keepers!). They will be back,
hopefully within a week or so. I think the blues ran them off.
Not much action in the Weeweantic or Wareham Rivers.
Anybody been of Big Bird Island Lately? Earlier in August that was a hot
spot.
