I caught a shark off the beach at Sanibel Island Florida yesterday. I have never seen one like it before. I live here and have seen most everything in the local waters.
It was mottled brown and white in color, it was approx 3 ft. in length. It had a head similar to a spade, with eyes on top of it's head and mouth underneath--similar to a ray. In fact, I'm not sure it wasn't a ray! Although it did have 2 dorsal fins, and side flukes. Please help in identification.
