Believe me: my intention was not to make light of the suffering that is happening in Yugoslavia. I thought I was responding to a string that simply poked fun at the single-mindedness of fly fisherman: that even in a war zone they remain undetered from their goal. In retrospect, the joke was ill-considered, but do consider that it was intended (however poorly) as a jibe about fishermen, and not about the people of Yugoslavia.
