So dave, if i'm reding you correcty, your problem is with the commercial fishing industry as a whole, not Molly Ben. As you stated, you eat all and only the fluke you catch. You find it objectionable if someone is allowed to take more than you for purposes of sale. Dave, nothing personal, but i hope your not saying people don't have the right to eat anything they don't catch? So the next time my wife and I enjoy a delicious meal of calamari at the Daily Catch, we should be ashamed because we didn't catch the squid, or that it was taken from your back yard? Perhaps your argument should be with the person making all this feasible in the first place, the consumer. Americans, especially us from new england love fish. That love of fish, and our willingness to pay almost any price, is the driving force behind today's commercial fishing industry. I'm finding your argument kind of obtuse. You seem to be implying that all ground fishing for cod, haddock, flounder, etc should be stopped, and we shouldn't eat any fish unless we catch it. Also, striped bass, eventhough they are classified as fully restored, must not be sold, by anyone, hence they be branded "an amateur" or perhaps even worse. Also, all dragging in nantucket sound, especially behind your home should be stopped . In addition to this, since i fish for bass commercially, part time, could you explain the "amateur with a 401k" part. i don't understand?
