Mark, not sure what you're asking here. My concern is the stress the motor clamps are putting on the transom as it bounces up/down and the motor acts like a 140+ pound lever. The transom is also angled outward from the boat body moving the leverage force to a slightly more horizontal vector. Am I explaining this OK ? In any case I thought the supports that clamp around the center rear roller and the lower unit might help reduce the stress. I have more then enough ground clearance with the motor in the down position. Isn't that the preferred way of trailering the motor ?
