Tried Wewantic - nothing except 3-4 ospreys keeping very busy snatching herring out of the water.
Buttermilk bay - nothing - no fish or sign on fish
Back river - waded down to the bay - nothing
Menauhant jetty - nothing inside. 1/2 doz cormorants keeping very busy in the rip at the end of the jetty.
Salt pond outlet - nothing but finally, good bird activity some 100-200 yds off the beach. Looked like there were three bird pods working in the area from Surf drive to Nobska. Good-sized surface splashes, too.
