Had my first Chatham flats fishing experience last week with my friend Peter Bennett of Hingham who has a flats boat. We saw about 500 or more bass within 50 feet of the boat. Unfortunately (as you know) my fly fishing skills are limited but it was fun and we got a couple of keepers plus several others. We were in an area called the crib.
Having traveled about 500 miles this week in search of yellowfin and marlin, I think it's time "someone" put together a Cape Cod offshore (non-fly!)report website. This is probably not a new idea for you but I think it would be tremendously successful. I would gladly contribute my trip info as I think others would too.
What are your thoughts on this?
By the way Dave, we bought a house near Dan's in Cotuit and bike past your house regularly. You're welcome to fish on my boat...420-8998.
