Just back from a beautiful morning on the water from Cotuit to Falmouth looking for bonito. Found 'em off of Falmouth, but they were in a skimpy pod and while Larry B. and I each got shots at them, they were too scattered to make for much of an outing. Lots of bait in the water, busting up as the bonito worked them into a ball. Nothing happening off of Waquoit or New Seabury. Few bass swirls off of Popponesset, but all in all, great conditions, bad fish. Who was the fly guy standing on the east jetty of Waquoit this am? DCC
