I admit it, I was a lurker. But I've started to get into it. I'm not into fly fishing yet, mostly spinning for blue fish and stripers. Mostly get a charge out of top water plugs and the explosions that pop when the timing is right. I've got a 17' Whaler, that I drop into Green Pond and moor on most weekends early summer to early fall. I probably hurt my production by not fishing the same places routinely. I fish Succonessett, Waquoit, the mouth of Eel Pond, occasionally Horse Shoe and Hedge Fence. Lately I have been going to Middle Ground, although I sometimes go to Woods Hole and the Elizabeths. I haven't gotten to Cuttyhunk yet but have fished Robinsons recently. Other times I fish the cost of Marblehead and the islands/rocks just off shore. One of these days, when I can team up with another crazy, I'd like to take a shot at shark fishing in the Falmouth area (C&R only, I don't have the equipment or experience to land one of these toothy monsters.
I enjoy reel-time and have been checking in a couple of times weekly.

Tight lines.
