You had a good day on the 7th. Wasn't that a full moon night? You had a
lousy day on the 8th. This was also close to the full moon. I guess the
moon has nothing to do with the fishing. How do you guys feel?
I have been getting a little superstitious about the moon. I'll fish any
moon phase but recently my confidence is lacking as the moon nears full.
I fished the canal last week and the moon was 3/4. It was a fairly bright
night with no fish around. I kept on blaming the moon for the poor bass
showing. Hey, ya gotta blame it on something. If it wasn't the moon I would
have blamed it on the tide or the water temperature or something else.
The reason I bring this up is that there have been some extensive threads
on this bbs that in summary stated the the full moon when visible shuts off
the fishing. I guess after reading that and the other opinions of some other
fishing friends I became full moon superstitious. I'll still fish it though.
