Thanks for your comments Bill. I will try the canal again sometime this week,
perhaps just before dawn or just at dusk. It is about a one hour ride for me.
I did well there last fall (mostly on school bass) but I have been skunked three
times this summer. In the old days, that is 1960-70's I fished the Merrimac River
more than the Canal. I may try that area again. That is about a one and a half
hour drive for me. I would be worth it to catch a few fish for a change. Thanks much for the comment.
