I don't know if anyone saw my last report as it was archived as soon as it was written. In summery, I killed the big blues on flies at weekapoug. What I want to know is, was anybody else out there on Thursday afternoon. Billions of small pogies stretched from Quonnie to the Andrea hotel. Was there other blitzes besides the one at Weekapoug? This weekend looks crummy with E, NE winds stirring up the gunk. There is so much bait on the south RI coast, any day can be great, as long as the water is clean enough to fish. There is plenty of bait, plenty of fish, still fish to the north, and the water is still warm. This is shaping up to be the best fall run in several years. We should get a few more weeks at least.
