The scene - act 1 :
It's 5:45pm. Light rain. Cold. Winds blowing about 20. 4-6 foot breakers smashing GBR....... enter our hero's....
scene 2 :
Rock and Adam strolling across beach front, joking that they would be the ones to catch the infamous 40+ inch fish that reside here (told to us by a dear chunking friend of ours...). Even made comments to the fact that the fish would be on OUR BBQ's this weekend.
scene 3 :
GBR is a nearly impenetrable wall. Our hero's become the Great Walendas just to walk out 25 feet of stone. Adam thinks of insurance policy when 6' wave lands 5 feet away....
scene 4 :
20 casts later our hero's give up - disgusted. Saddened also by the ending season, thoughts of long winters cold, and 6 months of waiting ahead for the first schoolie spring runs......
