try cutting a portion of eel, like a chunk, maybe just the head and gills, with a #6 hook and a 1 or 2 oz wt. sounds like these are small blues. fishin has been poor for wks now from the surf at shinnecock long island. i probably wont try again til end of the month, water may be too warm. ron
