What kind of set up does Art use with his rod? when I lived down there I did not fly fish. Distance was key as I remember. If I was going to flyfish there I would use some kind of a shooting head system. Probably a slow sinking head. The past two years I have gone down for a few days and the fishing was poor. Looks like this year RI is getting the bait and the fish. Chasing those fish up and down those beaches is a lot of fun. Those guys down there fish so hard makes us Mass guys look like wimps. Never seen any group of people fish harder. A number of those guys do not sleep from Labor Day to Thanksgiving. May have to go down this year.
