Your right about those Rhode Islanders taking there fishing seroiously and fishing hard. Trucks all over the place with 4-6 poles "growing" out of their grills - the placed look like a "fishing pole orchard"! Your right about a shooting head system - my problem was I didn't have my waders on and could have gained 20-30 feet - but I was running back and forth trying to stay at the edge of the surf. Once I had time to get waders on I was all right. But even so, some of the fish were right up in the wave as it hit the beach.
