South cape beach's awesome

Marco and I want down to South Cape beach ~1100 to meet up with Adam. Didn't find him, but we got into most spectacular albie action I've had this year! They were cruising some 100'-200' off the beach, pod after pod, and we got three to eat small castmasters :-) Marco landed one. In addition, there were plenty of small bass in the wash, and some truly monstrous bluefish! Lost my popper to one, and got another one into the surf and lost it while trying to land it without losing fingers. Sputnik almost got bit in the leg. Left ~2:00 without finding Adam. Almost a grand slam for both me and Marco.

When we got there, there were maybe 3-4 baitfishers and a couple pluggers. Walked all the way down to the jetty to find just two baitfishers. On the way back, the crowd by the parking lot grew to ~10. Still no Adam. Saw John Bergin (?sp), busy FFing for blues. Any other reel-timers share in on this action?

Well, I guess days like this don't happen very often, but when they do, oooh, they're so sweet.
