Saturday was just as good as Friday on the RI coast (see my report elsewhere)
, although it took me a
while to figure out how to catch them. At times they were fussy, other times
they would hit anything that moved. Sunday (today) was dead, for the most part.
I think the north wind finally pushed the bait offshore, but I'm sure this
is just temporary. Anyway, so far, this is the best fall I've seen in RI in
6 years, but there's plenty of season left. We'll just have to see whether it
holds up.
