I am traveling to Martha's Vineyard for four flyfishing filled days
(Sept. 24-28). Our hope is to catch Stripers and hopefully get in on
the false albacore (Too late forBonito??)run. I have two rods (9 wt. and
8 wt.). Will be bring floating, intermediate and sinking lines. Fishing
all over the area, but expect to concentrate in the Cape Pogue gut area.
I have fly fished heavily in Maine, and some what at Merrimac, Plum Island
spots, but never on the vineyard. Looking for suggestions, especially in
regards to flies and patterns for this time of year. Would like to tie
some up before I leave. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
