Larry,

When I troll two lines solo, I often regret it. When one rig goes off, you pretty much have to reel like heck to get the other one cleared before you go after your fish. If they both go off at once, you're in trouble. One way to avoid disaster is to leave the boat in gear while you're clearing lines - that helps keep the fish from running circles around your other line. Another trick is to troll less line if you troll multiples, so there isn't as much line to clear.
