Well the recent cool weather we had seems to have excited the fish. Last night I saw 2 schools of bunker with fish under them off Bedfords and 3 more schools at Compo. This is the first sign of them since the begining of June! Not like the old days when they were here all year.(1980's) Small blues seem to be everywhere and the amount of small bait is amazing. There is so much bait around the fish don't have to corner it and as a result they are breaking all over. I managed to pick up 4 small blues with a dozen other hits. Of course the big fish with the bunker school never came in close enough. I think there might have been some bonito mixed in too. Has anyone been catching any in this neck of the woods?
