Took our every-other day regular run out to check lobster pots at Bird Island
around 5 to 7 pm.Wind was dying off nicely to a beautiful "Diamond Day".
Upon return run back to Wareham spotted birds and fishcrashing.Thinking to myself "funnyfish" but didnt dare say it, as my friends think I am obsesed already.Then they cry out albies ,fast movers,little tunas? Well we saw them as close as 10 ft,a rod length.Cast swedish pimples ,small bucktails ,and asstd. flies .We all had about 3 good shots but no hookups.Bait was very small,rainfish, Bay anchovies ?
Guess who is playing hookie tomorrow.
Keep a sharp eye out if you are in area.
