terror..." ;-)
I have nothing constructive to add about the suitability of shooting heads for
novices, because I'm too cheap to buy them until I wear out my old salmon fly lines
that I've been using for the past 10 years. Seems to me it would be easier to
make a distance cast with them, but, like I say, what do I know...
