I checked the west end of canal (cape side) friday nite and ended up staying till almost midnite. Theres was tons of bait along the edge and into the hole at the end. Fish started started feeding heavily as the tide came up. and I stayed and stayed trying to find something they would hit. Used spinning tackle (must get fly reel handle fixed).Ended the evening with just pleasant memories of the sound of fish feeding.
