First I'd like to say to Mr. Churbuck-Thanks for a great forum to vent some of our collective sickness(obsession) known as fishing!
I'm 28, Married and reside on the W. Central coast of Florida. However before moving here I was a veritable canal rat wanna-be. I was introduced to striper fishing by my then College roomate about 6 years ago. Now that I live in Fl. I get all the striper info I can absorb from this BBS. I addition to that I make a yearly pilgrammage to the cape for an annual reunion/fishing trip with my former roomate and 3 others. We cram ~72 hrs of fishing into three days with sleep as an afterthought. When I'm stuck here in the south the rest of the year I am relegated to fishing in my 17' Aluminum flats boat w/ a mercury jet drive. From that I can be found working to reach all the redfish, trout, cobia and tarpon I can, in the shallowest water I can run.
Well, thats my story. I look forward to the next story in this thread.
