I will be in Connecticut on business and would like to fish the surf on Sunday
August 29. I am experienced Michigan flyfisherman that moved to bay area of California.
I have fished the surf for perch this year and hade lots of fun. I understand that blue
and striper fishing has been good. I have a 7 weight outfit and can cast 90 feet if I have
a stripping basket (but it's too bulkey to bring on this business trip.) Can anyone provide any
information that might help. Sense I only have one day to fish I would like to make it count.
