At one time they stocked the River with Pacific Salmon and New Hampshire stocked some of the rivers which flow into Great Bay also. That was probably about 15- years ago. These were a fish that ran about 10-12 Lbs. Not the big kings. The name finally comes to me. They were Coho Salmon.
They were also stocked in some of the Great Lakes about the same time.
