Went from Waquoit at 6am to Cape Poge to Edgartown, thru East and West Chops to Middleground. Did not see an bonito. Only surface action I saw was the schoolies around Waquoit's jetties at dawn. Birds were working the flats on the east side of Edgartown, but saw no fish underneath. I did catch a nice flounder though. Got an even nicer one when I was trolling a jig across the bottom at Middleground. Had to leave at 10, so I probably missed the real fun. Off to Barnstable tomorrow.
