Thanks for the advice. I've been tossing clousers, size 6 I think, the smallest I can find. I've been flailing away out there, trying to get some distance, and am doing okay thusfar, but no hook-ups.
Was at Plum Island this a.m., either side of low tide. Actually had two hits, inexplicably there was no hook up. Spoke with several fly-fishers, no of whom were catching fish. Saw three schoolies caught on clams in about 3 hours.
Where next, I wonder?
