Fished the east end Friday and Saturday. As reported it was like October with fish busting and chasing bait all over the place. This morning was even hotter then yesterday where we were with bait every where and the stripers pinning them to the shore. The fish were finicky . But seemed to want small lures caught them two at a time with a 4 inch slugo and a small white dropper fly ahead of it on light tackle also some guys using droppers ahead of their plugs were doing well on the droppers and smaller rubber shad type lures were working. catching fish to the mid 20 inch range saw a few larger ones, They hit best at dawn and dusk. Tried eels last night didn't get anything. Water temp was 68 degrees when I checked it yesterday. Didn't get anything on the usual plugs . They were still at it when we left.
