5 different places--Deer Island, Castle Island, Wollaston Beach, ocean side of Little Misery Island (on boat), and Plum Island--and still no fish! But keeping the faith.
Was at Plum Island this a.m on either side of low tide. Spoke with several other fly fishers, who had little if any action. Saw 3 stripers caught in about 3 hours, all on bait.
I'm using a 9-ft 4-wt, intermediate sinking line, and chartreuse/white or olive/white clousers (small, size 6 I think).
At least I'm not seeing people slaying them while I'm out there--if that were the case, I'd begin to start thinking it was me!
Still keeping the faith--and, as always, open to any and all suggestions.
