Take a chill pill Bobby G. I have met Scott many times down at the ol' ditch and he has taught me many things. He is one of the nicest and most considerate people I have met. I do not believe at all that he was advocating the pulling of traps? At least I did not read it in his post. I have fished some of the areas this year that he speaks of and I have no liking for the lobster pots. I DO NOT, nor would I advocate the pulling of those traps. I do however have a different opinion than you. I believe in the greatest good for the greatest number. The pots are utilized by one, the fishing spot by thousands. Last year, those pots were lazily placed with wires clearly exposed high into the rock line.
You have the right to do whatever you damn well please, that is why this is America. I do take offense to your soap box criticism of Scott. Take a look back in the logs, I remember a similar, but much more civil thread on the same topic last year, originated by Scott again. It elicited many good ideas, unlike your rantings about being a town member-good for you, the Canal is not owned by your town, it is a federal property.
