Got a hall pass for the day on Friday. Fished Watch Hill to the West Wall with
Brad Wolfe and Gil Burke. Started targeting bass and blues with Teeny's and
Flat Wings on the reefs. Gil hooked one that wrapped him on the bottom.
Found bones in front od the hotel late in the flood. Moved to West Wall.
Ate a sandwich and gassed up just in time for the wind to pick up and the sky
to go dark. Fished are way back and found pods of bones just uptide of nearly
every point or breachway. There was a good school working less than a hundred
yards off Quonny Beach. We were on them for over an hour. Saw an Oceanic Sunfish
at Weekapaug Point. Totals 18 hook ups, 5 landed and 2 grilled. Most hit slowly
stripped flies. Brad and Gil fished juvie herring imatations and I fished sparse
white jigs...I mean Clousers. Great Day !!
