I can not believe that someone else could (would?) catch shad. I thought they were there only for my entertainment....
I hit Slate and Grape Islands off hingham by kayak today. Only fished a few minutes because I had wife aboard (should I say bored...). Very fishy islands, but came away empty handed. Must try this again at first light sometime.
Probably heading for Wacky in the morning. Open invite exists....
