Bob, I guess it the RI situation re recreational fishing won't be happening this year - the closing of the rec fishing until 5/15 in RI. If that were closed, I assume the guys from RI would be coming to the canal in droves . I know I would. My guess is that the Bourne herring run would be more crowded than it already is. Imagine about a hundred more guys looking for parking spaces especially on the weekends at the herring run. I'll call thr Bourne town hall this Tues. to see what's up on the permits. Will post.
