Stripers in the Thames. Latest fish report: The water temp was 43 on Feb 10th. The Thames still has a lot of fish, they are shallower now. Montville Power Plant and
some of the coves are holding some bass. Norwich Harber is full of stripers. The week of Feb. 8th fish were reported at
Cresent Beach in Waterford and the lower Mystic River. The herring run should start in a few weeks. The herring are starting
to move into the area now. Catch Report: Ron Whiteley, of the CT/RI Flyfishers, scored a February
slam on the 12th, with a striper, salter brookie and sea run brown
