Has anyone come across a good, reliable flyrod holder for boats?
I don't men in a tube, but ready to cast. I have seen two kinds: the vertical
storage that you can mount to the side of a console, and pvc adaptors for gunwale
rod holders. Both of the ones I have seen looked a little iffy--the pvc tube
looks like the rod could go right over the side on a bumpy ride. Ideally, I'd
like something that sits vertical in a padded bottom but also clips in up
near the top half of the rod so it doesn't bang around. Does this contraption exist?
