Additional Kayak Info

Have narrowed my choices to a Wilderness Systems Pungo or an
Old Town Loon 138, both are the same money.

Old Town offers a rudder option, sliding seat, and foam construction.
The salesperson said in his opinion the Loon 138 is more stable than the Pungo.

Any real-timers favor one over the other?

Also is a rudder worth having - I was thinking while drifting along in the
current it might be.

My last question is can you use an anchor with a kayak and if so how do you
rig it off the bow?

I have no experience with kayaks - other than 20 years ago I took a weekend
course but never did anything with it. The kayaks we used than were not at
all stable, could'nt see fishing from them.

Thanks in advance for your advice and opinions.
