I've been participating for about 6 weeks now. Silent lurking is not my style, although there may be those who wish it was.
I've been fishing all my life,but saltwater only about ten years. Saltwater flyfishing about eight years.
My teritory ranges from Popham beach in Maine to Watch Hill Rhode Island. I start in April at the West Wall,
move to the Mouth of the Merrimac in May, up river in June, Gloucester, Boston Harbor and Maine in July and August and southern RI in Sept. and Oct.
I live in Boston Metro West so I put alot of miles on my vehicle. I've been pretty fanatical in the past but have cut way back.
I no longer fish every weekend year round and rarely fish longer than 12-14 hours at a stretch. As a result, I am still married
but it was a close call. I have three boys, all dedicated fish lovers. Besides fishing, diving and aquariums are my other
vices. It works out real well in the fall at RI. 'cause I can fish, dive, and collect tropical fish, all without leaving the parking lot at Weekapoug.
Oh ya, my new other vice is spending all my break times at work reading and posting on Reel-time.
