I must be in the wrong places but I don't see much trash up here in Maine, at least
where I fish. Most of it appears to come from boats. The only place that comes to
mind is the railroad bridge on Scarborough Marsh. Quite a bunch hangs around there,
if you get too close to them, especially with a fly rod, they get real ugly. Naturally,
the bridge is a $#!*hole. Any other Maine people notice a problem with trash? Oh, one
more place comes to mind, the beach near Fort Popham on the Kennebec is a complete dump.
I don't understand how people can behave this way.
The clean-up conclave is a great idea, do a little press release for good publicity, post
a date and place on this board and I bet you get 40-50 people.
