I was never so entertained by these pages before Jay Horton showed up this summer with his humorus, offbeat postings. The first post I remember, and the funniest I might add, was the infamous "WHY FLYFISHING IS BETTER THAN BAITFISHING" : http://www.reel-time.com/bbs/bbs5-june1-98/0584.html (June 1-98)

This thread got a lot of guys involved in some very entertaining (light hearted) ribbing. We got in quit a few yucks and made some new friends. It also exposed a terrifically creative sense of humor that many of us fishing diehards possess, essential for those occasional long, fishing dry spells out on the water. (The story telling fisherman stereotype...)
The sequel: "WHY BAITFISHING IS BETTER THAN FLYFISHING" was equally funny.

(I don't have time to search out all of these, but.............)
honorable mention to:
Jay's "FLYFISHING SUITABILITY TEST" & the "DORF GOES FISHING" thread

As I've said many times, "I go fishing for fun. Leave the serious stuff at work." Nothing wrong with a few fishing related chuckles.............
