I have been following ReelTime since last fall and have posted a couple of times. This is a tremendous forum, filled with excellent advise, hints, and wisdom. My hat goes off to those who run this board and those who regularly contribute.
I do most of my fishing from shore along the Merimack and the Refuge. My family and I rent a house off the coast of Maine for 3 weeks in July and get a boat with it so I enjoy some really great fishing in and around the Sheepscot River.
I also enjoy trout fishing and make several trips to the White Mountains each summer. I fish the Squanacook and it's tributaries, too. I got to Vermont this summer for two days and had a great time in the Battenkill and Mettawee rivers. Boy are they beautiful.
Seventy-five per cent of my fishing is with the fly rod and the rest is plugging, live-lining mackeral, and lures. I caught my first False Albacore on a fly a few weeks ago on Martha's Vineyard. I'm still looking for my first MA "keeper" striper on the fly. My aim is to get out fishing once a week, but I often fall short of that. I have two biddies I do most of my fishing with and my son when he's not to busy chasing girls!
Agian, this is a super forum!
