Albie question

I caught my first false albacore on a metal popper from a beach in
Island Beach State Park, in New Jersey (can't drive 7 hours to the Cape every
weekend) Question is, what do you usually do with FA's after catching them?
I kept this one and grilled it and it is a BIT strong tasting. Any tricks
to handling or quick release? Do they typically survive release?
