I alway give my FA's the head first plunge from about ear-level, straight into the water. Trying to revive a tuna like a bass is an effort in futility and will contribute to its demise. Tuna oxygenate by moving forward only, so if you rock a tuna back and forth, you can do more harm than good. I once read that a tuna needs to swim its entire body length every second, in order to breathe. "The plunge" seems to work, as I've never had one go belly-up or do anyhting but swim away rapidly using this technique.
