10-21, Fish of the year

I seriously doubt if anyone can "top" the fish a friend of mine caught on a small sand-eel pattern on South Cape Beach. It was a flouder slightly larger than silver dollar! It had to have been the funniest salt water fishing moment of my year. I sincerely wish I had a camera with me. Surely, we've all seen those pictures of gargantuan sea-beasts hauled out of the surf (with recognizable landmarks erased.)

The sight of my friend holding this teeny flounder by the tail, slowly, lovingly and gently releasing it into the surf like it was some monstrous Dolly Vardon in pristine Alaska was my moment of the year.
