I have a Reddington 8 wt and it is wonderful. I bought the blank and a friend made it for me. I broke the rod and the blank was quickly replaced, no questions asked. My friend built a new one for me and I use it for most of my stripe fishing. I also have the new LL Bean Double LL 3 piece 10 wt and I like it very much. They gave it to me as a replacement for my old Double L which broke this summer. The new Double LL is a faster rod and casts better than the old model. However, it does cost more than $300 ($335 I think).
