A friend turned me onto reel-time this summer.
I check the postings a couple of times per week
and I have responded to a few threads. I work and
live in the Lexington, MA area so I don't get to
fish the Cape as much as I would like to. This
year we were 2-for-3 in the canal, but nothing big.
Once a year in July we take a Bass charter out of
Winthrop, MA and we have done well all 3 years,
my biggest fish was a 42" 23lb bass in july of 97.
I do mainly surf-casting; I have never fly fished
(fresh or salt water). I grew up in Bourne, MA so
I go mostly to the canal and a few other spots that
you can shore fish from in Buzzards Bay. Also, I am
seriuosly thicking about buying a power boat for next
years fishing season; I want something that I can trailer
(under 20').
