10/26 A good idea for you fishermen who live in the Boston area would be Tuesday evening doors open at 6:30, at the Foxboro Community Center, at the intersection of North Grove and South Street in Foxboro. The Crossroad Anglers are having flytying night. This is a group of local flytyers getting together to show how to tye local patterns, both fresh and saltwater. This month the saltwater patterns are Gibbs Striper Fly, and pigtails. The flyfisher who heads up the group is Armand Courchaine, believe me when I say he knows his stuff. I don't belong, but I know of the organization. Personally I use to belong to United Flytyers, but no longer do. In the past I wrote articles for United Flytyers, need I say anymore? Art B.
