Mikes recommendation on the Roan Arra Lamiglass blank is a good one. The Plug fishing in the canal is the ultimate need for distance. This blank coupled with a good conventional reel and 20lb test line is what the longest casters in the canal use. Some of them can throw a plug 125 yards.
