9/20 Scituate/Cohassett

After yesterdays, " Bonitopalooza," tour with LB, I was determined to take today off and get some chores done.

After about two hours of putzing around the house, I simply couldn't let another beautiful day get away, I mean there's only so many left you know?

Thought I'd give Egypt beach a try, as many big fish have been reported caught in the area recently, and I'd been meaning to learn it any way.

Fished about a mile of the beach during high outgoing for not-even-a-bump. A local resident was nice enough to tell me that he usually picks up a few on incoming.

Noticed a very unusual odor on the beach, on the way back. Looked down in the water to see four-white paws sticking straight up to the sky. Attached to the paws, was the biggest, ugliest bloated dead skunk body you'll hopefully ever see. I guess you could say I was," Skunked," on Egypt Beach.

Stopped off at the Cohassett outfall on the way home. Not much going on in the wash, but I did grab a coupla' quick schoolies under the bridge.

At least I got rid of the skunk smell!

Jay
